The Susan G. Komen Foundation held its annual fundraising walk to promote breast cancer awareness and research on October 11. The walk for the DMV area was held  at Southpointe in National Harbor, Maryland.

The Karyzma Kares Foundation forms a team each year to raise funds, support those fighting breast cancer, honor survivors, and remember those who lost their battle to this terrible disease.

​

This year, Loretta Ford - 18 years breast cancer free, Maria Gay - 8 years breast cancer free, and Terri Wade - 6 years breast cancer free, who has been undergoing oral chemotherapy treatment since 2019, also joined us in the walk.  Our team raised over $1300 to support the cause.  Check out the photos below.​
